Chris Harris, Esq.
Chris Harris graduated with honors from Baylor Law School in 1997. After graduation, he began his career in Dallas at the commercial litigation firm of Griffith & Nixon where he specialized in construction law.
In 2000, Chris returned to his hometown of Waco, Texas to open a general law practice with his father-in-law, and he eventually formed two additional firms - "Hutson & Harris" and "The LOCH Firm."
For over two decades, Chris has represented individuals and businesses throughout the state of Texas in the areas of commercial and civil litigation, estate planning and probate, personal injury, business formation, contracts, real estate and immigration law.
For the past ten years, Chris has also represented catastrophically injured individuals and their families throughout the United States. Chris typically partners with other law firms to insure that the clients have the absolute best and most aggressive attorneys possible. Chris partners with lawyers who have heavy reputations for proven results in complicated personal injury litigation. He believes that lawyers need to play to their strengths, and Chris' strengths are in the areas of assisting clients with their legal needs outside of the courtroom, such as legal briefing, probate matters and disability support services.
People often hire attorneys at the most difficult times in their life. Chris' goal is to make the legal process as easy and understandable as possible and to alleviate any concerns. Communication is key and clients are kept up to date through every step of the process.
Chris considers himself fortunate to work with his wife of many years, Meredith. They have 3 (adult) children who are all musicians and share Chris' love of music.
